Chase Field, located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, is the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. Opened in 1998, it was the first stadium in the U.S. with a retractable roof and a natural-grass field, designed to handle the extreme desert heat while still giving fans the open-air ballpark experience when weather allows.

Atmosphere & Design

The stadium seats about 48,000 fans and features a modern, industrial design with sweeping steel trusses and massive retractable roof panels. Inside, the atmosphere balances the traditional charm of baseball with high-tech amenities. One of its most famous features is the swimming pool and hot tub beyond the right-center field wall, available for group rentals and giving Chase Field a uniquely fun, Arizona twist.

Entertainment & Events

While it’s best known for Diamondbacks baseball, Chase Field also hosts college sports, concerts, monster truck rallies, and other large-scale events. The retractable roof and air conditioning make it versatile year-round, no matter the outside temperatures.
