Mullett Arena

The Mullett Arena, located on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, is a new, state-of-the-art multi-purpose arena that opened in 2022. It’s home to the ASU Sun Devils hockey program and, for the time being, serves as the temporary home of the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL. Despite its smaller size compared to other NHL venues, it has quickly gained attention for its intimate and energetic atmosphere.

Atmosphere & Design

Mullett Arena seats about 5,000 spectators, giving fans a much closer and more personal view of the action compared to large-scale arenas. The design emphasizes modern amenities, high-quality sightlines, and a collegiate spirit, with sleek architecture and a warm, community-focused vibe. The smaller capacity creates a lively, loud environment, making games feel intense and engaging.

Entertainment & Events

In addition to hockey, the arena also hosts concerts, wrestling, gymnastics, and community events, as well as other ASU athletic competitions. Its flexible design makes it suitable for both sporting and entertainment purposes, giving Tempe a new hub for live events.

Even though it’s smaller than typical pro arenas, Mullett Arena includes club seating, premium suites, and upgraded concessions, offering fans enhanced comfort and access to amenities.
